To enable employees or managers to make attendance-related changes, you can unlock attendance for a specific period by following these steps:
Steps to Unlock Attendance:
- Navigate to the Control Panel
Go to Control Panel → Attendance → Import Dropdown → Lock. - Locate the Unlock Attendance Option
Find and click on the Unlock Attendance option. - Select the Attendance Period
Choose the desired Attendance Period that you want to unlock. - Configure the Options
Based on your requirements, configure one or more of the following options:- Employee Unlock:
Enable this option to allow employees to request punches or apply for leaves during the selected period. This will give employees the ability to make changes to their own attendance records. - Manager Unlock:
Enable this option to allow managers to manage attendance for their teams. Managers will be able to request punches, justify late arrivals, and apply for leaves on behalf of their team members. - Fully Unlock:
Enable this option to allow all users (employees, managers, and admins) to make attendance changes, including requesting punches and applying for leaves.
- Employee Unlock:
- Save the Changes
After configuring the necessary options, click Unlock to save the changes.
This process will provide flexibility for employees, managers, or admins to manage attendance records as needed.
